As you could see from the amount of macarons I make, and the Gateau inspired cakes, it’s safe to say I absolutely love French Desserts. Here’s a sneak peek into a cake (or slice?) that I made earlier today, Napoleon.
This little dessert is quite rustic and messy with layers of slightly flaky pastry and creme patissiere, topped off with a glaze and chocolate. I’m usually quite neat, but after watching a demonstration video, I decided to just go with the flow.
Since it has to refrigerate overnight, the recipe will be posted tomorrow.
